A sports columnist with Postmedia, Tim has been with the Ottawa Sun since its birth in 1988. Tim, who played football at Wilfrid Laurier University and Sheridan College, has written about the Ottawa Redblacks since they became a CFL expansion team in 2014. Tim was head coach of the St. Patrick’s High School varsity football team for five years, including 2009 when the team won the city Tier II championship, with Ashton Dickson scoring the game-winning touchdown. Tim also coached Little League baseball for four years, winning two regional championships. Tim is married to Kelly-Anne, with four children (Brent, Jarryd, Mitchell and Riley) and two grandchildren (Carter and Rowen).
